Terms & Conditions
Adopted November 2024, Updated January 2026
These Terms & Conditions explain how we will work together.
This agreement is between my company, MMDG Travel LLC and you — the traveler and your entire party or group.
By finalizing your booking and using my services, you're agreeing to these terms.
1. Scope of Services
As your travel advisor, I can help you with:
-
Booking vacation packages, hotels, tickets, transportation services, and more.
-
Planning the details of your trip, including itineraries and personal guidance.
-
Recommending travel insurance options.
-
Other travel-related services as needed.
I’m an independent contractor of a host travel agency, not an employee of any supplier I book with. This means I have full control over how I provide services, and will always work in your best interest.
My business is registered in the state of Missouri as MMDG Travel LLC, dba Show-Me Family Travels, Show-Me Diz and Show-Me Cruises. FL SOT # TI-118777. My principal place of business is 5609 Nearpoint Ct., Columbia, Missouri 65203. Email may be directed to info@mmdgtravel.com.
Your supplier bookings will be serviced through my association with WorldVia Travel Network (worldvia.com, 763-497-0839). I am simply a booking agent and am not a direct source, supplier or provider of travel.
2. Your Responsibilities
By using my services, you confirm that:
-
You are over the age of 18 and have the legal authority & accept financial obligation to make travel bookings for yourself or on behalf of others.
-
If you are booking travel for a group, you accept full responsibility for decision-making on behalf of the group. This includes collecting payments, approving the itinerary, and ensuring all group members understand and agree to the terms and conditions of the booking.
And you agree to:
-
Provide me with accurate information about your travel plans and preferences.
-
Review your bookings and verify trip details for accuracy. Failure to immediately correct discrepancies may result in delays or additional expense to you.
-
Be responsive to all correspondence and communicate timely with decisions or payments requested of you. I cannot be responsible if you miss offer availability or payment deadlines when you are nonresponsive.
-
Abide by the terms & conditions put forth by any supplier, and conduct yourself (and all group members) in a responsible manner.
3. Fees & Payments
-
Consultation Fee: There are no fees for an initial consultation.
-
Engagement Fee: I reserve the right to charge a fee to cover initial research and other planning required prior to quoting. Any fees will be disclosed and payable before your booking is finalized. Engagement fees apply to a single quoted trip and may expire with client inaction, requiring additional engagement fees to book in the future. Engagement fees are non-refundable, non-transferable, and separate from any additional service/planning fees.
-
Booking Fee: There are no fees to book your travel with a supplier.
-
Service/Planning Fees: I reserve the right to charge a fee to cover my time planning your trip details (building an itinerary, making reservations, guidance, etc.) Any fees will be disclosed and payable before your booking is finalized, and are non-refundable.
-
Commissions: I may receive commissions from third-party suppliers, but that doesn’t affect the price you pay.
-
Quotes & Estimates: Pricing is point-in-time and subject to change without notice. All quotes are non-binding and have no validity period unless explicitly stated otherwise.
-
Deposits & Final Payments: Some bookings may require a deposit (often non-refundable) to secure your reservation. Full payment will be due according to the details for each supplier.
-
Additional Fees: On-site fees (i.e. parking, resort fees, taxes, meals, gratuities, etc.) will be disclosed or quoted to the best of my knowledge. You will be responsible for any fees that arise regardless of notice provided.
You are responsible for all charges, fees, taxes, etc. for your travel bookings. By completing a credit card authorization, you agree to allow me use of your payment details to complete all payments on your behalf directly with each supplier. You will be presented a credit card authorization for each individual charge and provided receipts following each transaction.
With the exception of planning/service fees originating with, charged by or paid to me, I will not hold other payment funds at any time – your payments are made directly with the supplier for each transaction.
All payments are due prior to departure according to each supplier’s payment terms & deadlines. Failure to complete final payment may result in trip cancellation, penalties or forfeiture of funds.
Except in cases of fraud, you agree to not file any dispute with your bank or credit card company or attempt to chargeback or reverse any fees that were authorized.
4. Changes, Cancellations & Refunds
-
Changes: Any modifications to your travel plans will be subject to supplier timelines, availability and then-current pricing. You will be responsible for any change fees that apply with each supplier.
-
Cancellation: If you need to cancel a trip, you must notify me in writing. Cancellation policies of each supplier I’ve booked for you will apply. Some deposits and trip components may be non-refundable, and you’ll be responsible for any cancellation fees.
-
Refunds: Any refunds due will come directly from suppliers, not from MMDG Travel LLC. Some suppliers issue refunds back to the original card used for purchase, while others offer credit for future travel. Terms of refund will be at the discretion of each supplier in accordance with their policies.
-
Any planning/service fee paid to MMDG Travel LLC is non-refundable.
5. Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is optional, yet highly recommended to protect you during your trip — whether purchased on your own, bundled with your vacation package or via third-party insurers. I can help you find the right policy, but it’s your responsibility to understand the coverage and make sure it meets your needs. I’m not responsible for specific coverage terms or any claims you may file. A waiver may be required if you refuse travel protection.
6. Travel Documents & Regulations
It is solely your responsibility to obtain proper travel documentation (passports, birth certificates, identification, etc.) and ensure that all names on your booking exactly match travel documents.
If you are visiting a foreign country (including cruise port stops), it is your responsibility to be aware of each country’s entry requirements, especially if any traveler has a criminal conviction.
-
Make sure you have the necessary travel documents and follow all travel protocols (e.g., health or safety rules).
-
Passports should be valid for 6 months after your anticipated return date – allow ample time for renewals if needed.
-
Review entry/exit requirements for each country you are visiting. Some countries restrict entry for individuals with prior criminal convictions, including DUI offenses in Canada.
7. Limitation of Liability
I am solely a booking agent for other suppliers and do my best to ensure everything goes smoothly, but sometimes things happen. I am not responsible or have liability for issues that are out of my control, including but not limited to:
-
Delays, cancellations, or issues caused by third-party suppliers.
-
Weather conditions, flight cancellations, or any unforeseen issues that may arise.
-
Limitations or denials due to a lack of proper travel documentation.
-
Personal injury or lost/damaged property while you’re traveling. You accept all risks, dangers and hazards and indemnify me from any liability.
-
Any issues with reservations made on your own with resorts/airlines/ships/transportation/etc. (i.e. dining, seat upgrades, independent tours, excursions, etc.)
-
Force Majeure Events: acts of God, natural disasters, war/invasion/hostilities, government orders, national/regional/local emergencies, labor stoppages, etc.
8. Privacy
I take your privacy seriously and will only use your personal information to service your account and book your travel. I’ll never share your details with anyone else unless it’s necessary for booking or fulfilling your travel plans. I do not sell, give away or otherwise release identifiable information.
9. Changes to These Terms
I might update these terms from time to time and make them available to you via my website. If you continue using my services, you’re agreeing to the new terms.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Missouri. If there’s ever a legal issue, it will be handled according to those laws. You agree to indemnify, release and hold harmless MMDG Travel LLC against claims or liabilities arising from any third-party relationship.
By continuing to work with MMDG Travel LLC, you confirm that you’ve read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
